Dodge Mirada - History

Overview
The Mirada was only made for 4 years: 1980-83. It was the successor to Dodge's Magnum line but they had toned down the engine and didn't think that the muscle car sounding name like Magnum was fitting for it. The Mirada is a J body, which means it shares the same basic chassis with the Chrysler Cordoba and the Dodge Diplomat.
The Mirada comes at the tail end of the old-style Mopar muscle cars, and doesn't really count as a muscle car itself.
